McMurry War Hawks Announce 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

ABILENE, TX – The McMurry University War Hawks women's soccer team has officially released its 2025 schedule, featuring a mix of challenging non-conference and conference matchups.

The War Hawks look to build upon a 2024 season where they finished with an overall record of 9-6-3 and a 5-2-3 record in conference play.

The 2025 campaign begins with road scrimmages against Dallas Baptist and Angelo State in late August.

The regular season kicks off on the road at Millsaps College on August 30th. The War Hawks will return to Abilene to head across town to play Hardin-Simmons on September 4th.

McMurry's first home game at Wilford Moore Stadium is September 7th against Houston-Victoria. The War Hawks will then head back on the road to face a series of non-conference foes, starting at Southwestern University before playing 2024 SCAC champion Trinity University. Rounding out the road trip is a matchup against Howard Payne in Brownwood.

McMurry will host Arlington Baptist on September 20th for senior day before starting conference play.

Conference play begins at home on September 26th against Centenary College. McMurry will also host the University of St. Thomas on September 28th, Austin College on October 3rd, and new SCAC member LeTourneau on October 5th.

McMurry will head to Arkansas in the second week of October to play at the University of Ozarks on the 10th. They will head down the road to Conway, Arkansas, to play another new SCAC member, Hendrix College, on October 12th. The War Hawks will then head back to Texas to play road games at Texas Lutheran on October 17th, Concordia on October 19th, University of Mary-Hardin Baylor on October 23rd, and finish up at the University of Dallas on October 26th before heading home for their final regular season game against Schreiner on October 31st.

The SCAC Conference Tournament will begin on November 6th, and the top six schools will compete for the conference championship.

Head Coach Charles Nobles said about his team's upcoming schedule, "We are super excited about our schedule this next year. It's extremely tough and will prepare us for the SCAC. The only way to become the best you can be is to play the best, and I think this schedule will reflect that."
