ABILENE – McMurry Men's Soccer returns to action this week with two home conference games on Friday and Sunday.

The War Hawks, 2-7-1 overall and 0-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference, face St. Thomas at 5 p.m. on Friday and Colorado College at noon on Sunday.

Goals: McMurry has six goals this season, led by
Nick Munoz with two.
Jovani Burnett,
Anthony Licea,
Herbie Martinez and
Julian Trevino have one each. Munoz and Burnett have the game-winners.

Assists: Three War Hawks have combined for four assists this season.
Landyn Snider leads the team with two while
Brian Boyles and
Dylan Christian have one each.

Arik Phillips and Trevino have three each. Yanez leads the squad with eight shots while Licea has taken seven.

Saves: Brandon Walker has faced 54 shots this season in goal for McM. He has a team-leading 35 saves on the season.

About St. Thomas: The Celts are 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC after a 6-1 win over Ozarks on Monday. Daniel Castro leads the team with six goals and shares the team lead in assists at three, along with Tony Castro. Cristo Gayoso comes in with a 1.04 goals allowed average with 10 saves.

About Colorado College: The Tigers are 8-1-2 this season and 3-0 against the SCAC after back-to-back 2-0 wins last weekend against Ozarks and Centenary. Oliver Ramirez and Vincent Luglio have four goals apiece. Rex Karjian has four assists. Spencer Besselaar and Alex Wolter have split time in goal and combine for a 0.36 GAA and 27 saves.
