COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The McMurry men's soccer team suffered a tough 10-0 conference loss to Colorado College on Friday at Stewart Field. The nationally ranked Tigers, ranked #4 in Region X, controlled the game throughout, scoring four goals in the first half and six in the second.

The War Hawks' offense managed 14 total shots on the day, putting seven on target, but were unable to find the back of the net against the Tigers' goalkeeper. The offensive effort was led by Juan Carlos Rocha Ceron, who recorded four total shots and two shots on goal. Bennett Schrom also put two shots on target. Angel Lugo, Anthony Ortiz, Jovani Burnett, Johnny Rocha, and Jordan Katende each contributed a shot for the War Hawks.

Goalkeeper Jose Sanchez was kept busy all afternoon, finishing the night with five saves.

The War Hawks will look to rebound as they continue their conference schedule in their next match.
