Box Score WICHITA, Kan. – David Cato (Canyon, Texas/Canyon HS) scored five minutes into overtime, which lifted the McMurry University men's soccer team past Newman University 1-0  in Heartland Conference action Saturday evening at Wilkins Field.

The War Hawks survived a high-powered NU attack.

The Jets (0-10-1, 0-3 Heartland) outshot the War Hawks 18-7 – including a 3-1 margin in overtime.

Goalkeeper Neil O'Sullivan (Saffron Walden, England/Cloud County CC) kept the War Hawks in the match and made a game-high 11 saves.

McMurry (3-6-1, 2-1 Heartland) returns to action Monday at Rogers State University.
