WICHITA, Kansas - The McMurry University men's soccer team fell by a score of 1-0 to Newman University on Thursday evening.

The lone goal of the contest was scored just five minutes into the game when Newman's Matt McConnell found the back of the net to give the Jets the lead, 1-0.Chances came few and far between for the War Hawks in the rest of the contest as they were held to just two shots on goal for the rest of the game and fell by the same, 1-0, score.

The War Hawks will finish out their season on Saturday when travel to Edmond, Oklahoma to take on Oklahoma Christian. The contest is scheduled for a 2:30 kick-off.
