GARLAND, TX - The McMurry University women's swim team completed day three of the 2026 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship Meet on Friday night at the Garland ISD Natatorium.
Brooklynn Lizcano led the War Hawks with a standout performance in the 100-yard backstroke, winning the consolation final to place ninth overall with a time of 1:03.15.
Nicole Ryman was right behind in the same event, touching the wall in 1:06.37 to claim 13th place.
Anna Nielsen had a strong showing in the grueling 400-yard individual medley, bringing home points with a 12th-place finish and a time of 6:08.36. In the 200-yard freestyle,
Natalie Liles secured a 14th-place finish for the War Hawks, clocking in at 2:12.66.
The War Hawks also competed in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where the quartet of Liles,
Emilee Thompson, Ryman, and Lizcano combined for a time of 1:49.76 to take seventh place.
Following Friday's events, the McMurry women sit in eighth place in the team standings with 103 points.
