ABILENE – McMurry Men's Soccer travels to Richardson this weekend for matches Thursday against East Texas Baptist and Sunday against Texas-Dallas.

Even Up: The War Hawks come into the week at 2-2-1 after a 1-1-1 that started on Sept. 8. McMurry won two games last season.

Keep It Low: McMurry specializes in the low-scoring games. The War Hawks have managed two wins and a tie with three goals this season.

Late Bloomers: Both McMurry wins this season have come with less than a minute to play.
Jovani Burnett scored with three seconds left in the win over Lyon and
Nick Munoz scored with 38 seconds left for the win at Dallas.

Assistance: Landyn Snider has been instrumental on two goals this season, leading the team with two assists. Snider has taken only one shot of his own while concentrating on finding opportunities for the team.

Keepers: Brandon Walker and
Jonathan Garcia have split time in goal this season and have combined of a 1.80 goals allowed average. Garcia has 12 saves and Walker has 10.

About East Texas Baptist: McMurry has beaten ETBU in each of the last three seasons, including a 3-2 win in Marshall last season. The Tigers are 4-2 this season after falling at home to Concordia, 4-3, on Saturday. Junior Lopez and Dylan Garcia have four goals each this season and Lopez also leads the team with two assists. Ryan Lord has played every minute in goal and carries a 1.50 GAA with 25 saves.

About UTD: UT-Dallas has won the last 13 contests in the series, including a 5-1 decision last year. The Comets are 2-1-1 this season after a tie against No. 13 Ohio Northern on Saturday. Riley O'Donnell, Jacob Culpepper and Hamza Syed each have two goals. Anthony Alston has 15 saves and a 2.05 GAA as the primary keeper for the Comets.
