NOTES:
LAST WEEK: McMurry played to a draw in both of their matches last week, both 1-1 tallies at Sul Ross State University and Howard Payne University.
KICKIN' CANCER: On Saturday, the soccer program will be accepting donations at the gate for breast cancer research as part of our "All Cancer Awareness" game. A team of McMurry University students are studying breast cancer collagen mutations in hopes to impact disease prevention and treatment. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward the research. Additionally, poster boards will be located on the track for anyone that would like to write the name of a loved one affected by cancer.

2: McMurry has scored at least two goals in 10 games this season. McM has won nine of those games and tied once.
ASC TOURNEY: With a tie at Howard Payne last Saturday, the War Hawks clinched a berth in the American Southwest Conference Tournament for the second consecutive year. A win over Concordia Thursday coupled with a loss or tie by LeTourneau University would guarantee the War Hawks a home game in the ASC quarterfinals.
ASC LEADERS: Freshman forward Alyssa Daily still leads the ASC in shots (70), goals (11) and is second in points (22). Junior midfielder Sky Reynolds is tied for sixth in shots (44), tied for ninth in points (17), 10th in goals (6) and third in assists (5).
SCOUTING CTX: All four of the wins for the Tornados have come in conference play. They have split their first eight conference games, alternating wins and losses en route to a 4-10, 4-4 ASC record. Kaycee Moore is the lone player with double figure points, scoring 13 points on four goals and five assists.
SCOUTING UMHB: The Crusaders are currently second in the ASC sporting a 9-5-1, 7-1 ASC record. They have won their last five games heading into their matchup at Hardin-Simmons before taking on the War Hawks. Four players have scored 10 or more points for UMHB, led by 15 points from Dannah Fritschle on seven goals and an assist.
