ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University Women's Soccer concludes the regular season this week, hoping to secure a berth in the American Southwest Conference Tournament.
The War Hawks host rival Hardin-Simmons University Thursday at 7 p.m. in their ASC finale before wrapping up the regular season Sunday against Southwestern Adventist University at 2 p.m.

Last Week: The War Hawks lost a pair of ASC matches on the road, falling 2-1 at Concordia Texas and 3-1 at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
ASC Tournament Scenarios: McMurry clinches an ASC Tournament berth from any one of the following scenarios:
-Win over Hardin-Simmons
-Tie with Hardin-Simmons combined with one loss by both Ozarks and Howard Payne
-Tie with Hardin-Simmons and one win and one tie by both or one of Ozarks and Howard Payne, as the War Hawks would have the three-way tiebreaker. The same can be said in a two-way tie should one of Ozarks or Howard Payne lose or tie twice with the other having one win and one tie.
-Loss and two losses or ties by both Ozarks and Howard Payne
-Loss and one loss by both Ozarks and Howard Payne, as the War Hawks would have the tiebreaker due to two head-to-head wins. The War Hawks would also have the tiebreaker should only one of Ozarks and Howard Payne split their matches and the other loses both.
Tourney first: Should the War Hawks qualify, it would be their first ever appearance in the ASC Championship Tournament.
Solid in net: Sophomore goalkeeper Cindy Villasana continues to rank near the top of the ASC in goals allowed average at 1.21, good for sixth overall.
13: McMurry has scored 24 goals this season by 13 different players. Sophomore midfielder Sky Reynolds leads the War Hawks with five goals while sophomore forward and freshman midfielder Tagan Hansen each have three.
About HSU: The Cowgirls are ranked 7th in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches poll and currently sit atop the ASC at 9-0-1 and are 12-1-1 overall. Senior forward Kenne Kessler leads the Cowgirls with 30 points on 12 goals and six assists.
About SWAU: The Lady Knights are members of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and have an overall record of 0-8-1. They have only scored one goal all season.
