WBU (4-1-1) outshot McM (0-2-1) by a 25-0 margin.

Senior goalkeeper Neil O'Sullivan (Saffron Walden, England/Cloud County Community College) kept the Pioneers at bay in the first half, stopping a total of six shots.

David Neuberth scored the game-winning goal at the 54:20-mark in the second half.

The War Hawks return to action Sept. 19 at crosstown rival Hardin-Simmons University.
