KERRVILLE, Texas – The Schreiner Mountaineers took advantage of McMurry's error in the bottom of the 7th and turned the miscue into three runs on their way to an 8-7 American Southwest Conference West Division victory Friday afternoon.

Schreiner jumped out to a quick start when Oscar Ibeita tripled home a run and later scored on an RBI groundout. The War Hawks scored one run apiece in the second and third innings before the Mountainners pieced together three runs in the bottom of the third to take a 5-2 advantage.
