Biography

2009 Season: 

Appeared in nine games as a junior.  Played backup first base.  Went 2 for 7 at the plate, including a home run.  Scored two runs and drove in three RBIs. Was a member of the Baseball ASC All-Academic team.

2008 Season:

Appeared in 14 games and started once.  Went 5 for 16 at the plate (.313) with one double.  Scored four runs and drove in one RBI. Was a member of the Baseball ASC All-Academic team.

2007 Season: 

Played on McMurry’s junior varsity squad. 

High School:

Played two seasons for head coach Tim Phillips at Hobbs High School in Hobbs, N.M. Earned second-team all-district as a junior in the outfield and then was named first-team all-district as a senior. He also earned academic all-district both seasons.

Personal:

2006 graduate of Hobbs High School in Hobbs, N.M. Born 17 April 1988.
