In the third set, McMurry led 5-0, but quickly CTX made it close again. Although the War Hawks never trailed, the Tornados tied the score at 24 before Kasi Conners recorded a kill and assisted on a block with M.J. Vickers to close out the 26-24 win.

In the final set, the Tornados didn't die leading late 21-20. However, Stephanie Henry led a 5-0 run for McMurry with three kills to close out the contest.
