ARLINGTON, TX – The McMurry University football program has announced that several members of its coaching staff have been selected to coach in the 14th annual Dream Bowl, one of the nation's premier college football all-star showcases on Sunday, January 11, 2026, with a 12:00 p.m. kickoff at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Dream Bowl gives standout college seniors from across the country a unique opportunity to display their talents in front of NFL and CFL scouts.
Jordan Neal will lead the coaching staff as Head Coach for the All-Star Game. This marks Coach Neal's first time coaching in the Dream Bowl since joining McMurry University, having previously coached several Dream Bowls. He will be joined by Matt Newby (Offensive Line Coach), Correy Washington (Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach), KJ Kelley (Defensive Backs Coach), Mark Rau (Wide Receivers Coach), and Markeis Williams (Defensive Line Coach). Also joining Neal's staff is Matthew McHugh (Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach), who currently serves as the Director of Offensive Player Personnel at SMU.
The selection of the McMurry staff for the 2026 game follows the program's representation in last year's game, which included defensive lineman Kane Strohman, wide receiver Kristopher Martin, and defensive back Tim Leatherman. Leatherman was also honored as the defensive MVP of the 2025 game.
"I am so excited to have the opportunity to return to coaching in the Dream Bowl," said Head Coach Neal. "The experience and fun I've had coaching in this game in the past has been a big part of my coaching journey. Our coaching staff will do a great job working with these aspiring professional players, and it should be a fun and exciting weekend and ballgame at Cowboys Stadium."
