MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Five players from the McMurry War Hawks 2025 football team have been recognized on the D3football.com All-Region 3 team, showcasing the program's defensive strength and special teams talent. The team, which finished the 2025 season as SCAC Champions with a 6-4 overall record (5-1 SCAC), is well-represented across the first, second, and third defensive teams, along with a special teams nod.
Leading the selections is senior defensive tackle Dorian LeBlanc, who earned First Team Defense honors. LeBlanc, from Beaumont, Texas, played in all 10 games, accumulating 39 total tackles, which included 23 solo stops. He was a disruptive force on the line, tallying six tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks for a loss of 25 yards, in addition to two passes broken up and six quarterback hurries.
The Second Team Defense includes junior defensive end Jackson Harris from Kilgore, Texas. Harris also played in all 10 games, securing 35 total tackles (25 solo). He led the team in tackles for loss with 13 for 53 yards and tied for the team lead with 6.5 sacks for a loss of 36 yards. Harris also forced four fumbles, recovering two for a total of 78 yards. Senior safety Dylon Davis from Abilene, Texas, was also named to the Second Team Defense. Playing in 10 games, Davis totaled 47 tackles (33 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, and led the team with six interceptions, which he returned for 91 yards.
Rounding out the defensive recognition on the Third Team is sophomore linebacker Bryce Neves from Grand Prairie, Texas. Neves was the team's leader in total tackles with 67 (36 solo, 31 assisted) over 10 games played. He also contributed nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks for 20 yards, and seven passes broken up, along with four fumble recoveries returned for 70 yards and one forced fumble. Finally, sophomore kicker Jax Rodriguez from Lago Vista, Texas, was selected to the Third Team Offense/Special Teams.
These selections recognize the individual performance of these War Hawks, as voted by Region 3 sports information directors and D3football.com staff. The players are now eligible for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced on Monday, December 22, 2025.
