Texas Lutheran University, who clinched the top seed and the program's first-ever regular season title last weekend, finished the regular season with a 1-0 victory over Concordia (Texas) on Friday in a match played at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, the host site of next week's SCAC Championship Tournament.

The victory ensured an unbeaten conference record for the Bulldogs, yet another first in program history, who finished the regular season with a 12-3-2 overall and 9-0-1 SCAC record for 28 points. Texas Lutheran ends the regular season on a twelve-game unbeaten streak - the longest in program history. Qualifying for its 13th consecutive SCAC Tournament, TLU has advanced to the championship final five times over that stretch with the last time coming a season ago.

McMurry University posted a 7-0-3 conference mark for 24 points (9-3-5 overall) to secure the second seed in this weekend's conference tournament. After barely missing out on qualifying for last year's event, the War Hawks defeated Schreiner, 2-0, in their season finale to wrap up a first-round bye (along with TLU) and a berth in its first-ever SCAC tournament in the program's final season in the league.

University of St. Thomas clinched the third seed after defeating Centenary, 3-0, on Saturday and will play in the postseason for the first time since 2020-21 and just the second time in program history. The Celts (10-2-4 overall) finished the regular season with a 7-1-2 conference mark will take on the sixth-seed, Hendrix College, in Thursday's second quarterfinal match at 2:30 pm CT. When the two teams met during the regular season, St. Thomas defeated Hendrix, 2-1, on October 17 in a match played in Houston. Playing in the SCAC for the first time since 2011, Hendrix (4-4-2 SCAC; 6-8-4 overall) earned the final berth in this year's six-team event with a 2-0 shutout of Ozarks on Saturday.

The tournament's first quarterfinal match (scheduled for Noon on Thursday) will pair the fourth seed, Concordia University (Texas), against fifth-seeded Austin College. Concordia finished the regular season with a 5-3-2 conference mark (5-8-4 overall) and will be making the program's second straight SCAC tournament appearance. Austin College finished with a 4-4-2 conference mark (7-5-3 overall) to earn its first SCAC postseason appearance since 2020-21 and eighth overall. The 'Roos finished with the same regular season mark as Hendrix, and the two tied their regular season match (1-1 on Oct. 24), but Austin College earned the higher seed due to its better against the highest-seeded team with a record differentiator - St. Thomas. Austin College tied the Celts on Oct. 10 (1-1) while Hendrix dropped a 2-1 decision to UST on Oct. 17.

After playing at SaberCats Stadium in Houston for the past two years, the 2025 SCAC Men's and Women's Soccer Tournament moves to Round Rock, Texas where this year's event will be played at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. This year's championship, the first as a top-six team qualification event since 2019 (all teams played in the 2020-21 championship during COVID), is scheduled to open on Thursday, November 6 at Noon CT when No. 4 Concordia (Texas) takes on No. 5 Austin College in the opening quarterfinal fixture with the winner getting top-seeded Texas Lutheran the following day. The second quarterfinal is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT between No. 3 St. Thomas and No. 6 Hendrix with the winner advancing to take on second-seeded McMurry in Friday's second semifinal match.

After taking off on Saturday, the two remaining teams from Friday will play for the SCAC championship on Sunday at 11 am CT.

The seeds for this year's women's tournament are as follows:
1) Texas Lutheran (9-0-1; 28 points)
2) McMurry (7-0-3; 24 points)
3) St. Thomas (7-1-2; 23 points)
4) Concordia (Texas) (5-3-2; 17 points)
5) Austin College (4-4-2; 14 points)
