SUWANEE, GA - Wes Scalf, a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Friday, November 14 & Saturday, November 15. It is the second consecutive week he has earned the honor.

Scalf continued his outstanding start to his sophomore campaign, securing three individual first place finishes last weekend in dual meets against conference opponent St. Thomas. He opened the week with a new school record in the 200 IM, hitting the wall with a winning time of 1:57.51. He broke the previous record which had been set in 2016. Scalf also secured gold in both the 200-yard breast with a season best time of 2:15.7 and posted his third season best time of the weekend, winning the 100-yard breast in 58.63. He also anchored the winning 200 medley relay team with a blistering split of 21.57.
