As McMurry University continues its Centennial Year celebration over 2022-23, its athletic communications office presents a new team among the All-Century athletics list throughout the period leading to the first week of October. Today, the focus is on women's tennis.
2012 American Southwest Conference Coach of the Year honoree
Mark Hathorn, who led the program from its inception in 2001 until 2018 and who's 143 dual victories top the Maroon and White coaches win list, is the head coach. Spotlighting the group of 10 former standouts are
Chloe (Patterson) Perez '17 and
Breeanne Brosig '17. Perez is the program's career leader in combined (91) and doubles (49) triumphs and was the conference's West Division Player of the Year as a senior. Brosig is McMurry's single-season combined (30) and singles (19) victories leader.
Claire Huffine-Hillyer '20 also helps headline the squad, as she was the league's divisional POTY during her senior campaign, too.
