GREENSBORO, N.C. – McMurry University completed its run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Friday in Greensboro, N.C. Abilene's own Jayden Sloan represented McMurry in the 400 meter dash prelims.
Sloan – an academic sophomore in his freshman year of outdoor track & field – finished 17th in the prelim with a time of 49.75. He entered nationals with the fastest 400 time in the regular season at 47.20.
Today concludes 2021 competition for McMurry Track & Field. Sloan was joined by Caleb Kwiatkowski, Jamari Williams , Dazhaun Walton, Jacob Williams and Michael Limones as national qualifiers.
