ABILENE, Texas – With inclement weather forcing schedule changes this weekend, McMurry University Softball Head Coach David McNally announced that the War Hawks' series against Hardin-Simmons will now begin on Sunday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Edwards Field.

The final regular season American Southwest Conference series for both teams has now been condensed to two games instead of three. The doubleheader will begin Sunday at noon with the second game to follow moments after.

Per ASC guidelines, all regular season conference contests must be completed by this Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

Following the second game, McMurry will hold a special senior day ceremony for its 2020 and 2021 seniors.

Both McMurry (18-11, 14-10) and HSU (13-19, 9-11) have clinched a spot in the ASC Championship tournament regardless of this weekend's outcome.
