RICHARDSON, Texas – The American Southwest Conference announced a date for the men's and women's cross country championships on Monday afternoon, as it will be held on February 20, 2021 in Clarksville, Arkansas.
The cross country championships in February will be hosted by the University of the Ozarks. The women's 6K race will start the day, followed by the men's 8K. Start times will be determined later.
The ASC fall competitions have been delayed to the spring semester by action of the Conference Council of Presidents on July 24.
There are eleven men's and women's teams expected to compete for the ASC titles, including McMurry.
The War Hawks are still expected to host the annual Bill Libby Invitational on Oct. 17, 2020 at the ACU Cross Country Course. Currently, the Bill Libby Invitational and ASC Championships are the only meets on McMurry's schedule.
All dates and times are subject to change. More meets are expected to be added to the men's and women's schedules.
