FREE SOFTBALL: Two of McMurry's wins over the weekend went to extra innings. The War Hawks defeated both Millsaps and Schreiner in eight innings.

4-0: Of the six ASC teams that have started their seasons over the last week, only McMurry and UT-Tyler are 4-0. Howard Payne is 2-0 while East Texas Baptist is 1-0.

BALANCED LINEUP: McMurry hit .327 over the weekend, with 13 different players recording a hit, including six with three or more and four with four or more. Ten different players drove in at least one run, and five had three or more. Ripley led fourteen players who scored with eight runs, while sophomore outfielder Ashley McClellan scored five.
