SEGUIN, Texas – McMurry's men's tennis team dropped a narrow American Southwest Conference West Division match at Texas Lutheran University, 5-4, on Saturday.

The two teams split the six singles matches, but the Bulldogs won two of three doubles bouts to earn the match victory.

The War Hawks won at the Nos. 1-3 singles competitions and all in straight sets. Chris Breaux topped TLU's Sanio Dizdarevic, 6-3, 6-4, at number one singles.

At second singles, Casjen Rico was a 6-1, 6-4 victor over David Schneider. Preston Steblein won at No. 3 singles – 6-0, 6-1 – over Steven Frenzel.

Breaux and Rico combined to win at first doubles by a score of 8-3.
