Box Score ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University wins its second game of the season, 98-64 over Southwestern Adventists Unviersity Saturday night at Kimbrell Arena. Jaden Isler and Steven Jones led McMurry's offense scoring 20 and 21 points respectively.
 
McMurry shot 52.5 percent from the floor on the night and 76.5 percent from the free throw line. Isler finished the night 7-12 from the floor and a game high seven assists. Jones recorded a game high seven boards, and went 7-8 from the floor.
 
The War Hawks started the game on a 21-7 run capped off by a three-point bucket by Brock Kimball at the 13:53 mark. The Knights cut the McMurry lead to 10 after a made three point bucket at the 12:24 mark making the score 22-12. McMurry held off an early second half run with the Knights pulling the game to 53-47 at the 17:43 mark.
 
The War Hawks then went on a 45-17 run to end the game and take the victory. Alfred Perez scored the final two points at the 1:32 mark on a jumper in the paint.
 
McMurry moves to 2-0 on the season. The War Hawks host LeTourneau University on Saturday 1 p.m. at Kimbrell Arena.
