McMurry University Athletics

2010-11 Season (Junior):

Named first-team all NABC South-Region, was the ASC West Division Player of the Year, named all-division all-ASC, and first-team all-ASC West Division on a McMurry team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs, won the ASC West and the ASC Tournament Championship. One of the most, if not the most, well-rounded players in the ASC averaging 14 points (19th in ASC), 7.9 rebounds (4th in ASC), and 2.1 steals (3rd in ASC) per game from the post position. Named to the ASC all-Tournament team; named ASC West Division Player of the Week twice on Dec. 6 and Dec. 21. Shot 46 percent from the floor (157-339), 32 percent from beyond the 3-point arc (7-22), and 64.4 percent from the free-throw line (85-132). Had 64 assists and 13 blocks on the season. Scored in double figures 22 games and strung together nine-straight games with at least a dozen points from Jan. 8 to Feb. 5. Scored a season-high 23 points against Sul Ross State Jan. 15 and passed the 20-point mark twice. Grabbed double-digit rebounds five times with a season-high 16 boards against Howard Payne Feb. 17. Recorded a season-high five steals against East Texas Baptist Dec. 16.

San Diego Miramar College (2008-10):

Played two seasons for head coach Nick Gehler at Miramar College in San Diego. Averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game over two seasons and was named all-conference and voted his team’s MVP.

High School:

Played two seasons for head coach Ted Hollister at Long Beach Wilson High School in Bellflower, Calif. Served as his team’s captain.

2007 graduate of Long Beach Wilson High School in Bellflower, Calif. Majoring in business with aspirations to become a firefighter. Born 07 May 1989.
