ABILENE, TX – McMurry University Football will be hosting its 4^th annual War Hawk Day April 5, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. as the team wraps up its spring practice campaign.

Fans are invited to come out to Wilford Moore Stadium to catch a glimpse of the 2025 War Hawks in action, as the team will be performing on the field from 3-5 p.m. Exclusive McMurry Football gear and apparel will be available for purchase at the game, as well as full concession.

In addition to the returnees on the field, many of the 2025 incoming class and their families will be in attendance, as well as the first of many class of 2026 War Hawk Football prospects.

"It has been an eventful Spring semester as our players have worked extremely hard in off-season workouts and spring football practices, and our coaches have recruited hard and well to put together a great 2025 signing class," Head Coach Jordan Neal reflected on the progress of the team. "Our TEAM has made great progress, and we are eager to display all the great improvements we have made to our fans, incoming players and parents, and also a great lineup of rising senior prospects on April 5^th."

The War Hawks graduated nearly 30 seniors from the 2024 SCAC Championship team, but return 18 seniors, 26 juniors, and 53 sophomores to the field in 2025. 28 players from last year's team earned some level of All-SCAC recognition, and the top returning players from that group include:
