ABILENE, TX – McMurry announced its 2026 baseball schedule.

The War Hawks' season begins on the west coast with a series against Cal Lutheran at George "Sparky" Anderson Field at Ullman Stadium in Thousand Oaks, California on February 6-7, followed by a single game against the University of Redlands on February 8.

Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play gets underway when the team returns to Texas on February 13 against Texas Lutheran in Seguin. McMurry has a road series in league action against LeTourneau, University of the Ozarks, Concordia, and Austin College.

Traveling to Walt Driggers Field in the SCAC slate is the University of St. Thomas, Hendrix College, the University of Dallas, Centenary College, and Schreiner.

The home opener is slated for February 17 against Hardin-Simmons at 7:00 p.m. 

The SCAC Tournament will take place April 30-May 3 in Cleburne, Texas, at La Moderna Field, home of the Cleburne Railroaders.

The War Hawks went a program-best 35-13 in 2025, with a 22-8 conference record and a deep run in the NCAA tournament, reaching the Super Regionals for the first time in program history.
