Chris Breaux and the tennis team started their busy weekend making the trip to ETBU to take on the Tigers.
The match started with doubles. Where the men's #1 team was defeated 8-3. The #2 doubles and the #3 having the same results. The women's team was able to win the #1 doubles match with a win 8-7. With the #2 and #3 team falling to ETBU. The singles matches were tough with 
K'Linda Mason bringing home the only victory for the War Hawks. "We had a tough match up against ETBU. We played well in some areas, but it wasn't enough to take out the tigers"- Head coach 
Chris Breaux. The match concluded with the Men falling 9-0 and the Women falling 7-2.
Saturday, February 16
th the War Hawks made the 5-hour drive and started the morning off with Letourneau. The match started off with singles. Where 
Bridgette Fly was able to defeat Megan LeBlanc in the #1 singles. She was able to win the match 6-2,6-1.  
K'Linda Mason was also able to win her match against Caroline Marshall 6-2, 6-0.
Doubles team 
McKenzie Carroll and 
K'Linda Mason were able to win their match against the #3 doubles team in the tie breaker 7-3. Giving them the win 8-7
.
The men's team were able to put together some close matches against Letourneau with 
Eli Frosch taking home the only victory 6-3, 6-4.
The War Hawks fell to the Yellow Jackets 8-1 on the men's side and 6-3 on the women's.
As the match against Letourneau concluded. The women's team were set to take on Oklahoma Wesleyan.
The War Hawks dropped the #1 doubles match 6-4.
But were able to take back the lead winning the #2 and #3 doubles. With victories 8-1 and 8-0.
Bridgette Fly was able to win the #1 singles 6-3, 6-3.
Karitza Bencomo was able to win her match 6-4, 6-3. 
Kaylee Connally also winning her match 6-2,6-2 and K'linda Mason winning 6-1,6-0.
The War Hawks were able to win the contest 6-3 against Oklahoma Wesleyan.
The McMurry tennis returns back to Seidel-Swagerty Tennis Center February 23rd at 2:00 PM.
