Box Score McMurry University's War Hawks lost 110-102 in overtime to University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Thursday, Feb. 15 in Belton.
Senior guard CJ LeBlanc (Dallas, Texas) was top scorer with 41 points, followed by sophomore guard Coco Rose (Odessa, Texas) and senior forward/center Elias Garcia (Houston, Texas) with 17 each, and junior forward Josh Alcocer (San Antonio, Texas) with 13.
Garcia got a double double as he also finished with 11 rebounds, two on offense and nine on defense. Freshman forward Tristan Holden (San Antonio, Texas) got nine rebounds, three on offense and six on defense.

Coach Zach Pickelman's team made 14 three-pointers. LeBlanc nailed six, Rose added five, Alcocer had two and Garcia contributed one. At the free-throw line, Garcia was 4 of 4, LeBlanc was 1 of 1 and Alcocer was 1 of 2. The War Hawks stole the ball eight times with senior guard/forward Rob Charles (Houston, Texas) and Rose having two thefts apiece, and junior forward TJ Hilliard (New Orleans, Louisiana), junior guard Matt Pena (El Paso, Texas), Holden and LeBlanc chipping in one each. Holden and Hilliard each blocked a shot.
McMurry, 9-15 overall and 3-11 in the American Southwest Conference, plays its last game of the season at 3 p.m. Saturday against Concordia University in Austin.
