ABILENE – McMurry Golf heads to Louisiana for the Bash at the Bend, hosted by Hardin-Simmons at Cypress Bend Resort on Monday and Tuesday.
 
Both War Hawks teams are entered, joining Hardin-Simmons, Concordia, Texas Lutheran, Southwestern, East Texas Baptist, Schreiner and Howard Payne.
 
Representing the McMurry women are Kenlee Turner, Karen Santos, Kaitlyn Neel and Raelynn Leifeste. The War Hawk women placed ninth at the UMHB Legends Cup earlier this month. Turner was 21 over to lead McMurry.
 
Caden Cawvey, Chase Allison, Cullen Timms, Eli Brinton and Tripten Roberts represent the men's team with Owen Morris going as an individual entrant.
 
The McMurry men are coming off a fifth-place finish at the University of the Southwest Fall Invitational. Brinton led the War Hawks at nine-over with Timms one stroke behind him.
