McMurry University's War Hawks are on a three-game win streak after beating Concordia University 97-84 Thursday, Jan. 11 in Kimbrell Arena.
 

Senior guard CJ LeBlanc (Dallas, Texas) scored 25 points and senior forward/center Elias Garcia (Houston, Texas) had 24 to lead a total of five players in double digits. Junior guard Matt Pena (El Paso, Texas) added 15 points, junior forward TJ Hilliard (New Orleans, Louisiana) contributed 14 and junior forward Josh Alcocer (San Antonio, Texas) had 10 as coach Zach Pickelman's team outscored the opponent 49-38 in the first half and 48-46 in the second.
 

Garcia recorded his third-straight double-double as he also had 13 rebounds, two on offense and 11 on defense. He had a double-double against Austin College and Texas Lutheran University.
 

The War Hawks nailed 12 three-pointers. LeBlanc had five, Pena made three of four attempts, Alcocer was two for two, and sophomore forward/center Kole Verdadero (Euless, Texas) and Hilliard added one each. McMurry was one free throw shy of converting all 16 attempts. LeBlanc was four of four, Hilliard was three of three, Alcocer was two of two and Garcia was six of seven. The Maroon and White stole the ball seven times with LeBlanc having the most thefts with five. Freshman forward Tristan Holden (San Antonio, Texas) and Alcocer each had one steal. Garcia had the team's only blocked shot.
 

The lead changed hands three times and the score was tied five times.
 

McMurry, 8-6 overall and 2-4 in the American Southwest Conference, plays University of Mary Hardin-Baylor at 3 p.m. Saturday in Kimbrell Arena.
