ABILENE, Texas – Louisiana College tallied runs in all but two innings en route to an 11-1 win over McMurry University Baseball at Walt Driggers Field on Saturday afternoon.
The War Hawks fall to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the American Southwest Conference, while Louisiana College moves to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in ASC play following a three-game sweep.
McMurry's lone run came in the fourth inning while trailing 6-0, as senior Mike Gonzales hit a sacrifice fly to bring in junior Christian Oliver. McMurry managed two hits against tough pitching, with seniors Sam Hillyer and Justin Kutz hitting a single and double, respectively.
Louisiana College had three players with three-hit games and rode a 6.0 inning one-hit gem from pitcher Dylan Roark in the win.
