ABILENE, Texas – It is the final week of the regular season for McMurry Men's Basketball, which sees the War Hawks remain on the road as they visit University of the Ozarks and University of Texas at Dallas.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: McMurry dropped a pair of road divisional games last week, falling 105-73 at division leader Sul Ross State before suffering a 78-77 setback at Howard Payne.
CARTER COUNTER: Senior guard Zacc Carter continues to inch closer to 1,000 career points, now sitting at 981 for his career. He can become the 30th player in program history to score 1,000 career points.
ASC TOURNAMENT: McMurry can still secure the final seed from the ASC West Division for the ASC Tournament. The War Hawks (4-10 ASC) trail Mary Hardin-Baylor (5-9) by one game heading into the final weekend.
BATTLE OF THE BOARDS: Saturday's contest against UTD features the top two rebounders in the ASC. UTD forward Hans Burwitz leads the league with 11.2 boards per game, while senior forward Mike Williams Jr. is tied for second at 7.9 boards per game.
SCORING LEADERS: Williams continues to lead five players averaging double figures in scoring this year at 14.5 points per game. Guards Dedrick Berry Jr. and Cody LeBlanc are tied at 10.5 points per game.
SCOUTING OZARKS: The Eagles sport the same overall record as McM at 7-16, and are last in the East Division at 3-11. Four players average more than 11 points per game, led by junior guard Jacobe Davis at 15.0 points per contest. Ozarks has the lowest scoring offense in the conference at 73.5 points per game.
SCOUTING UTD: The Comets sit one game ahead of East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau in the East Division with an 18-5, 12-2 ASC record. Guard Jalen Weber is seventh in the ASC in scoring at 18.1 points per game, while Burwitz averages 15.2 points. UTD leads the league in rebounding margin at points allowed at just 70.9 points per game.
THE SERIES: McM leads the all-time series with Ozarks, 21-3, but the Eagles have won the last two meetings. UTD holds a slight advantage over the War Hawks, 10-9, having won the last six contests.
