ABILENE, Texas – The McMurry men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 American Southwest Conference West Division match to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday morning at the Seidel-Swagerty Tennis Center.

The War Hawks picked up victories in two singles and one doubles match.

At No. 2 singles, Casjen Rico was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over UMHB's Joshua Powell. At third singles, Preston Steblein followed suit with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over the Crusaders' Garrett Pekar.

At the No. 1 doubles position, the tandem of Rico and Chris Breaux won an 8-6 decision over UMHB's Pownall and Will Summers. The duo is 8-2 overall in pairs play.
