ABILENE, Texas – McMurry men's tennis won four of six singles matches and swept doubles play in a 7-2 ASC West Division victory over Sul Ross State at the Seidel-Swaggerty Tennis Center. The War Hawks improved to 1-1 in the ASC West and 4-6 overall.

McMurry won at No 1 & 2 singles as Chris Breaux and Casjen Rico picked up straight set wins. Breaux dispatched of SRSU's Chris Villafranco, 6-2, 6-0, while Rico bested Tanar Ragan, 6-0, 6-1.

At fourth singles, Arnett McClure out-dueled the Lobos' Dominic Lonowski, 6-2, 6-1. At No. 6, McM's Colby Freehauf received a default win.

The War Hawks did not lose a game in the doubles matches.
