McMurry Men's Basketball To Compete In Abilene Christian Classic

ABILENE, Texas – The McMurry University men's basketball team will make the short trip across town to compete in the Abilene Christian Classic hosted by Abilene Christian University on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17. Tonight at 6 p.m., the War Hawks will take on Sul Ross State University. Tomorrow, McM will play York College at 4 p.m.
 
The War Hawks come into the weekend having defeated the University of the Southwest, 82-57, on Monday. In their first game of the year, McM was led by 14 points from Kenny Williams, and 12 points each by Alfred Perez and Takoby Jackson.
 
Sul Ross comes into the weekend tournament having not played a game yet this season while York College out of the NAIA is currently 8-1 on the season having scored over 100 points three times so far this year.
