FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - McMurry's
Ken Wheeler went to Fayetteville, Ark. over the weekend to run in the University of Arkansas' Chile Pepper Festival. Wheeler ran the fastest 10K time in school history with a 32:46.31.
Wheeler ran along with 241 other runners comprised of mostly NCAA Division I athletes and placed 128th.
Wheeler and the cross country teams won't run again until the American Southwest Conference Championships on Halloween in Clinton, Miss. hosted by Mississippi College.
