McMurry University Athletics

Katie Wilson serves as the women’s assistant soccer coach and recruiting coordinator at McMurry University. She joined the coaching staff in 2026, shortly after graduating from McMurry in December 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.

During her collegiate career, Wilson was a standout athlete for the War Hawks, earning All-Conference honors four times. Her accolades include a selection to the All-Tournament team in 2022 and Academic All-ASC honors in 2023. Her senior year in 2025 proved to be a historic one; she was awarded the prestigious Elite 19 Academic Award and named the Defensive MVP of the conference tournament, ultimately leading her team to a conference championship title.

Originally from Round Rock and raised in Liberty Hill, Texas, Wilson is the daughter of Nathan and Desirae Wilson and has a younger brother, James. Outside of her professional and athletic pursuits, she enjoys discovering new shows, staying active through fitness, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
