McMurry University Athletics

High School:

Played two seasons for head coach Steve Warren at Abilene High School in Abilene. Served as the deep snapper and played on special teams for the Eagles who won the Texas 5A Division II State Championship. As a junior he helped AHS to a perfect 10-0 record in the regular season, but the team fell in the first round of the playoffs, Gorman had a touchdown catch that season. Named 3-5A academic all-district as a senior.

Personal:

2010 graduate of Abilene High School in Abilene. Father, Wes, played four seasons of football at Abilene Christian University and is on the coaching staff at Abilene High School. His great uncle, Bill Gorman, graduated from McMurry. Played alongside Drew Carroll at AHS and Carroll now plays NCAA Division I college ball at Rice University. Majoring in history with aspirations to coach and teach.  Born 25 Aug. 1991.
