2008 Season (Freshman):

Played on McMurry’s offensive line in 2008.

High School:

Played three seasons for head coach Dwight Burns at the New Mexico Military Institute. As a senior, he played on both sides of the ball and was credited with 35 pancakes and just five sacks allowed his senior year. On the defensive side of the ball at defensive tackle, he had eight tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. Was a second-team all-district selection. Also lettered in baseball and hit .454 as a senior with three home runs and 54 RBIs. He was a first-team all-district selection in baseball and was a third-team all-state selection at first base.

Personal:

2007 graduate of New Mexico Military Institute. Majoring in Accounting with a minor in religious studies with aspirations to attend law school. Played against Scott Poe and Justin Cooper in high school baseball; both Scott and Poe play for NCAA Division I New Mexico State. Also played baseball against Landry Jones in high school; Jones plays college football at the University of Oklahoma and backs up the 2008 Heisman Trophy Award winner Sam Bradford. Born 05 April 1989.
