ATLANTA, Georgia - McMurry Men's Soccer wrapped up its weekend trip at the John P. Salamone Invitational on Sunday morning, dropping a 7-0 road decision to Emory University at Oglethorpe Track and Field.
Emory established control in the opening half, striking first in the 14th minute and quickly doubling its advantage four minutes later. The Eagles added a third goal in the 42nd minute to send the War Hawks into halftime trailing 3-0.
The Eagles maintained offensive pressure out of the break, finding the net twice in the opening minute of the second half. Emory added scores in the 52nd and 86th minutes to round out the match.

Enrique Cabello turned in a busy shift in net for McMurry, registering six saves across nearly 78 minutes of action.
Jonathan Sanchez entered in relief for the final 12 minutes, turning away two shots.
The War Hawks open conference play against Hardin-Simmons at home on Saturday, September 26th, at 7:30 p.m., following the women's game.
