FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - McMurry delivered a commanding performance, sweeping Dallas Christian in three sets on Friday afternoon.
The 25-17, 25-10, 25-14 win saw the War Hawks dominate from start to finish on the road.
McMurry swung at clips of .267, .306, and an impressive .688 over the three sets.
Madi Polasek paced the War Hawks with 11 kills on a .450 hitting percentage. Hannah Rubis added nine kills and 10 digs, and
Grace Fortune led with 22 assists and four aces.
Haley McCallick was strong on the back row with seven digs while hitting .500 with five kills.
Layleah Williams-Gibson was in on three solo blocks, while
Grace Gustafson and
Kenzie Jackson added one apiece.
The defense stifled the opposition all afternoon, holding the home team to a .036 hitting percentage.
Jalie Miller recorded eight digs and two aces, and Jylian Phillips chipped in with seven digs.
