WESTWORTH VILLAGE, TX - McMurry's men's golf team fell to eighth following the second round of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship on April 20 at the par-72, Hawks Creek Golf Course.

After entering the day tied for third, the War Hawks shot a 307 in the second round and finished the day with a 294-307-601 total.

LeTourneau leads the tournament with a 292-285-577 total by three shots over second-place Dallas.

Texas Lutheran is third at 587. McMurry trailed seventh-place Hendrix by five shots and was 22 shots better than ninth-place Centenary.

Eli Brinton led the War Hawks with a 69-76-145. He currently sits in ninth place in the tournament field.

Tallon Burgess shot a 77 in the second round for a 151 total to tie for 25th, Kendrick Hoster shot 76-76-152 to tie for 27th, and Chase Allison shot 75-78-153 to tie for 31st. Tripten Roberts shot 77-82 to round out the War Hawk lineup with a 159 total.
