ABILENE, TX - The McMurry men's soccer team fell to Hardin-Simmons in a 7-1 road match on Thursday night. Despite the loss, the War Hawks found the back of the net and put forth a strong second-half effort.

The War Hawks' lone goal came in the 63rd minute when Abel Gonzalez scored an unassisted goal. On offense, McMurry struggled to get shots off, but Johnny Rocha, Pedro Yanez, and Bennett Schrom each put a shot on goal for the War Hawks. The team's six shots in the second half more than doubled their output of two shots in the first half.
