BROWNWOOD, TX - The McMurry men's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with Howard Payne on Thursday at Citizens National Bank Field. The War Hawks' offense dominated the stat sheet, taking 11 shots with seven on goal, while holding the Yellow Jackets to just five shots, with only two on goal.

The War Hawks' offense was led by Nick Munoz and Dylan Christian, who each had two shots on the night. Munoz, Christian, Angel Lugo, Jordan Katende, Johnny Rocha, and Abel Gonzalez all put a shot on goal.

In goal, Jose Sanchez played the first half, and Joaquin Sanchez played the second. Joaquin Sanchez had one save in his 45 minutes of action to help secure the shutout.

The War Hawks will look to build on this performance as they head to Belton on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. to play Mary Hardin-Baylor at Crusader Stadium.
