SHERMAN – Austin College scored a three-set win over McMurry on Thursday, 29-27, 25-23, 25-12.
 
The War Hawks trailed 15-11 and 22-19 in the first set but rallied to send the set to extra serves. McMurry fought of four set points before taking the loss.
 
McMurry trailed by as many as eight points in the second set and fought off three set points in the second and made it a 24-23 contest before falling.
 
Addyson Tiffin led the War Hawks with 11 kills and Carli Colbert came up with 19 assists.
 
Jacee Dinkins had 13 digs, Colbert added 11 and Hannah Page and Isabela Dorsey added 10 each.
 
McMurry finishes the week on Friday with a 5 p.m. game at Centenary.
