SHREVEPORT – McMurry cruised to a 3-0 win at Centenary on Friday, 25-21, 25-16, 25-18.
 
The win moved the War Hawks to 7-6 in the SCAC and a sure postseason berth.
 
The War Hawks fell behind early in the first set, 10-6, and the set was tied at 20-20 before McMurry finished on a 5-1 flurry. Jacee Dinkins had a kill and an ace in the spree and Kendra Humphries ended the set with a kill.
 
McMurry used a 9-2 run to break open the second set and finished with the final four points.
 
Annikah Frank had two kills in a 5-0 run to close out the third set.
 
Dinkins and Addyson Tiffin led McMurry with six kills each and Alexis Dolton had 18 assists.
 
Allison Montoya and Hannah Page had three aces each.
 
Page had 21 digs and Dinkins added 15.
 
The War Hawks host University of the Southwest at 6 p.m. on Tuesday – the final home game of the season.
