ABILENE - McMurry tries to get back on the winning track this Saturday when Austin College visits for a 1 p.m. kickoff in Wilford Moore Stadium.

The War Hawks come in at 4-3 overall and 4-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and can clinch at least a share of the league title by winning its final three games.

TURNOVERS: McMurry leads the SCAC and is second nationally with 10 fumbles recovered and second in the SCAC with 10 interceptions. The War Hawks are fifth nationally with 20 turnovers gained and fifth nationally with a 1.43 turnover margin. Timothy Leatherman leads the team with four interceptions and Noah Hatcher has forced two fumbles. The 10 recoveries have been by 10 different War Hawks.
 
MORE D: The War Hawks are 23^rd in the nation, allowing only 100 first downs this season. It helps that they are first in the SCAC with 174.7 yards passing allowed per game. McMurry leads the league and is 31^st nationally at 261.7 yards total defense.

TARGETS: Kristopher Martin leads the SCAC with 656 yards and 93.7 yards per game. Thomas Chandler and Kason O'Shields have four touchdown receptions each.
