ABILENE – McMurry Swimming and Diving heads to Houston this weekend to take on St. Thomas at 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The McMurry women are looking for their first win while the men look to build on their win at Centenary.

Women's Winners at Centenary: McMurry got women's victories from
Caitlyn Sauer-Newell,
Maddy Rohrer and the 400 medley and the 200 free relays. Sauer-Newell won the 200 backstroke in 2:23.80 and Rohrer took the 100 free in 56.94.
Leilani Washington, Sauer-Newell,
Lorin Mow and Rohrer won the 400 medley relay in 4:37.02. Rohrer,
Milana Johnson,
Natalie Liles and Washington won the 200 free relay in 1:51.07. McMurry claimed women's wins on the second day in the 200 medley relay, the 400 freestyle relay and individual wins by Rohrer and Washington. Washington, Liles, Johnson and Rohrer took the 200 medley relay in 2:12.12. Mow, Liles, Sauer-Newell and Rohrer won the 400 free relay in 4:09.81. Washington won the 100 backstroke in 1:07.44 and Rohrer took the 50 free in 25.98.
Winning Men at Centenary: Wes Scalf,
Victor Zambrano,
Harrison Brown and the men's 200 free relay team picked up wins. Scalf won the 200 breaststroke in 2:18.43. Zambrano won in the 200 backstroke in 2:07.71 and Brown won the 100 freestyle in 56.94 seconds. Scalf,
Sterling Wright, Zambrano and Brown took the 200 free relay in 1:32.50. The second day's victorious men's performance included two wins by Zambrano and one each by wins by Brown, and Scalf, as well as the men's 400 free relay and 200 medley relay.
Backstroke: Sauer-Newell leads the War Hawks in the women's 100 and 50 backstroke events with times of 1:07.10 and 31.33 seconds.
Montgomery Cortez leads the McMurry men with a 27.00 in the 50 and
Victor Zambrano has a 58.49 in the 100.
Breaststroke: Scalf tops the McM men with a 1:00.55 in the 100 breaststroke and 27.85 in the 50.
Leilani Washington has the top women's time in the 50 at 40.00 and Rohrer leads in the 100 at 1:16.07.
Butterfly: Mow leads the War Hawk women in the 50 butterfly at 30.45 and at 1:08.30 in the 100.
Daniil Kochkonbaev leads the McM men in the 50 at 26.51 while
Caden Motheral has the best time in the 100 at 59.35.
Freestyle: Harrison Brown tops the McMurry men in the 50 free at 22.81 and the 100 at 52.14. Zambrano has a 1:55.872 in the 200, a 5:16.17 in the men's 500 free and a 10:52.38 in the 1000 free to lead the squad. Rohrer leads the women in the 50 free at 25.89.
Milana Johnson has a team-leading 1:06.42 in the 100 free.
Leilani Washington leads the women in the 200 free at 2:12.68.
Mia Mendez has the team's best time in the women's 500 at 7:03.43 and the 1000 at 14:37.65.
Relays: Mow, Sauer-Newell, Rohrer and Washington have the top time in the women's 400 free relay at 3:56.73, the 200 free relay at 2:02.74 and the 200 medley at 2:02.74. Brown, Motheral, Wright and Scalf have the best time in the men's 400 free at 3:25.12. Cortez, Brown, Zambrano and Scalf have the best men's time in the 200 free relay at 1:44.25 and the 200 medley at 1:44.25.
Diving: Elijah Trevino leads the War Hawks in the one-meter at 145.10.
