ABILENE – McMurry Volleyball won its third consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game, taking down the University of Dallas on Thursday, 3-1.

The War Hawks won 25-19, 25-23, 24-26, 25-22.

After falling behind 7-3 in the first set, the War Hawks got things rolling and led by as many as six points, including the final margin. The McMurry defense held Dallas to a -0.29 attack percentage in the opening frame.

McM scored the first six points of the second set, including two kills by
Jennika Willis. The hosts led by as many as eight points in the set and closed the second set out with a block by
Rylie Patterson and
Carli Colbert.

After dropping the third set McMurry eventually got itself a 17-12 lead and held off a late charge by the Crusaders.
Addyson Tiffin got the match-point kill.

Jacee Dinkins paced the offense with 13 kills while
Carli Colbert registered 28 assists.
Hannah Page served up three aces.

Tiffin was in on five blocks while
Rylie Patterson got involved in four. Dinkins led the team with 19 digs, followed by Page with 18, Isabella Dorsey with 15 and
Chloe Ukle with 13.

McMurry returns to action with its Dig Pink match on Tuesday – a non-conference home contest with Howard Payne at 6 p.m.
